Brian Kaner is CEO – Service, leading the service and auto repair businesses of Pep Boys, AAMCO and Precision Tune, and driving the Company’s expansion of its comprehensive national service network. Kaner joined Icahn Automotive as a Senior Vice President (SVP), overseeing strategy, corporate development activity and the Company’s real estate portfolio, and has been instrumental in service acquisitions. Previously, Kaner was President of Sears Auto Centers, with responsibility for hundreds of service locations across the U.S., and also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Sears Home Services and Appliance and Stanley Black & Decker Security Solutions. Earlier in his career, Kaner also held management roles with Mac Tools and GE.
Michael Nevin is CFO of Icahn Automotive Group, overseeing all corporate Finance functions including accounting, tax and treasury. Nevin has a wealth of experience in financial analysis and strategy. Prior to joining the Company, Nevin was a Managing Director and Financial Analyst at Icahn Enterprises L.P., where he was responsible for analyzing and monitoring portfolio companies. Earlier in Nevin’s career, he was employed by Jefferies LLC as a Research Analyst covering the Utilities sector and held various roles at JP Morgan Investment Bank. Nevin serves as a director of several companies, including Viskase Companies, Inc., Conduent Incorporated, Ferrous Resources Limited, and Icahn Enterprises L.P., and has previously served as a director of American Railcar Industries, Inc., and Federal-Mogul LLC.
Matt Flannery is Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, overseeing Legal and Compliance, Human Resources and Real Estate. Flannery has served in senior leadership roles at Pep Boys and Auto Plus including General Counsel and Secretary for Icahn Automotive. Prior to joining Icahn Automotive businesses, Flannery was Senior Counsel, North America, for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where he led key business and legal decisions relating to OEM, replacement, retail, sales, distribution, marketing, quality and labeling. Earlier in Flannery’s career, he was Senior Litigation Counsel at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company and an Associate at the law firm Jones Day.
Jarrod Phipps is SVP and Chief Information Officer (CIO), leading Information Technology (IT) at Icahn Automotive to create unique experiences for customers in-store and online. Phipps previously held the CIO role at two large retail companies: A.C. Moore, the arts and crafts chain, and Clarks Americas, the footwear manufacturer and retailer. Throughout Phipps’ career, he has proven to be a transformative IT leader with a customer-first mindset. Prior to joining Clarks, Phipps spent more than a decade as a management consultant in Deloitte’s strategy, technology and innovation practices in the consumer products, retail and healthcare industries. While at Deloitte, Phipps worked on automotive aftermarket brands, including Prestone, Autolite and FRAM.
